perth A-list couple Linda and Adam Ross, who disappeared in January owing more than $1 million to creditors, have resurfaced in Adelaide where they are trying to build a new life and new careers.

Among the list of wealthy West Australians who lost money in their dealings with the couple was former Eagles captain Murray Rance, who lent Mr Ross $175,000 so he and his wife could start separate limousine hire and events management companies which later collapsed.

The West Australian last night found the pair living in Clarence Park, a middle-class area in the southern suburbs of Adelaide. They arrived home in their late model Holden Statesman and refused to answer questions about their debts or their decision to cut off all contact with their former business partners and creditors.

The first blow to the high-profile partnership came last year when the company behind the couple’s Subiaco restaurant Social On Station, which they sold in 2007 and has now closed, collapsed with debts of more than $300,000. Lead creditor French champagne giant Moet Hennessy had the company put into liquidation over a $9000 debt before other creditors, including Mr Ross’ family trust ($227,000), made their claims.
