Staff at an award-winning brewery were let go in the middle of their shifts after the company ran into financial difficulties and was put into voluntary administration.

Golden West Brewing Co, located in perth/index.html” id=”mol-1011e1f0-d9a6-11ee-b769-93b20176caa9″ class=”class”>Perth, collapsed on Wednesday with only the brew team kept on staff to finish processing beer already in the tanks so it could still be sold.

Golden West was founded in 2021 in Leederville, in Perth’s inner-west, by a group of five school mates.

The company’s website informed beer lovers their venue has been temporarily suspended but consumers could still purchase beverages by contacting them directly. 

Daily Mail Australia contacted Golden West Brewing Co for comment. 

A source close to the company told Perth Now that cost of living pressures left the business with no other option but to close.
